Red Bull coaching staff advisor Helmut Marko accused Lewis Hamilton and the entire Mercedes team of forging documents related to the health of the "Black Pearl" after the collision with Maxverstappen at the Italian GP.
Although the penalty has reachedverstappen (a 3-way delay in the starting position in the Russian GP), up to now, the Red Bull team still feels warm. One side was determined to do it and demand a heavier penalty, the other side was determined to appeal and report the opposite. The heat between Red Bull and Mercedes has not cooled down for the past 3 days.
After the world's top two drivers collided in the GP Italia stage on September 12, when standing up,verstappen did not stop by Hamilton's cockpit to ask about the opponent's health. That action was widely criticized becauseverstappen's vehicle was a pre-collision vehicle that almost caused a serious problem in Milton's head.
Despite being punished and having his behavior caught on camera at the time, Marko was determined to defend his star and team.
"I still think it was a normal accident. All the surrounding stories are woven too elaborately by Mercedes.
If you pay attention, whenverstappen left, Hamilton also sat up and stepped out of the cockpit. Medical vehicles saw that and stopped interveneing. They later made up a case of Hamilton being seriously injured.
As for "Black Pearl", he revealed that he will need the care of the team of doctors, thereby diagnosing whether he can participate in the upcoming Russian GP or not.
"I need to see a doctor to know if I can get through the next race or not. I have been racing for many years and thank God I am still standing here.
When participating in this game, everyone has to accept the risk. Look at many events in the past to see how fragile life is sometimes.
I am very grateful to Halo ( Hamlet's car) for saving my neck from danger."
This response by Hamilton directly refutes what he said in 2018 about the Halo. At the time, the "Black Pearl" said that Halo could be the worst edition in F1 history. He also said that if he was chosen, he would not use this car.
Lewis Hamilton is currently ranked 2nd on the rankings, 5 points behind Maxverstappen. Things may change when in the upcoming Russian GP, the starting position can put Verstappen at a huge disadvantage.
