Force information
Blaugrana ( Barcelona's nickname) took the top spot in LaLiga last weekend after a win over Real Sociedad. Silver Ball Lamine Yamal assisted Robert Lewandowski to score the decisive goal, after recovering from a groin injury. Yamal will almost certainly start against PSG.
However, the same cannot be said about Barcelona's other five injured players, including Marc-Andre ter Stegen (back), Gavi (knee), Joan Garcia (knee), Fermin Lopez (back) and Raphinha (hamstring). In Raphinha's case, Marcus Rashford is likely to replace him.
On the left wing, Alejandro Balde is expected to return from a hamstring injury. However, Gerard Martin is likely to still start in a 4-man defence. In the goalkeeper position, Wojciech Szczesny will be used after Ter Stegen and Garcia were injured.
On PSG's side, Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembele will not play in this match, as the French player is expected to be unable to return from a hamstring injury until the end of October 2025.
Some other injuries to PSG are Desire Doue ( calf), Joao Neves (hamstring), Fabian Ruiz (arms) and captain Marquinhos (heads). The situation got worse for coach Luis Enrique when Vitinha and Kvaratskhelia both had problems in the victory over Auxerre.
According to French media, there are serious concerns about Kvaratskhelia and suspected hamstring problems, but there is still optimism about Vitinha being able to play against Barcelona.
