After a difficult period at the beginning of the season, Heerenveen are gradually stabilizing their playing style and achieving favorable results. For that reason, coach Johnny Jansen decided to keep the same squad of 11 players who are playing well together in the past 2 rounds.
full-back Doan Van Hau once again sat on the bench, when his name was on the list. When the " machine" Heerenveen was in a corner, Hau could only actively practice and wait for the opportunity to come to her.
In round 9 of the Dutch National Championship, Heerenveen was welcomed to a weaker opponent - Zwolle at home. Therefore, coach Johnny Jansen's team flooded up to attack right after the opening whistle.
The home team took the initiative, holding a lot of the ball but did not really have dangerous combinations. They mainly rely on the wingers with the speed and technique of the "bice" Chidera Ejuke - Van Bergen.
