Today (December 26), the Disciplinary Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) issued disciplinary decisions related to violations at the National U19 Football Championship season 2025-2026.
This is a move to strictly handle acts of playing beyond their ability, negatively affecting the fairness and prestige of the tournament.
Specifically, according to Decisions No. 1243 and 1244, players Tran Quang Duy and Truong Phu Quy of the U19 Be Tong 26 team were fined 3.75 million VND and suspended from playing until the end of the tournament for playing beyond their ability, seriously affecting the tournament and the image of VFF.
In addition, three other players of U19 Be Tong 26 were also fined. Players Tran Trieu Anh Khoa, Dinh Duy Bao and goalkeeper Nguyen Cong Thuan were fined 2.5 million VND and suspended for the next 5 matches.
Disciplined players have the right to complain to the Complaint Resolution Board of the Vietnam Football Federation.
