On the afternoon of February 28, at Ba Ria Stadium (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), the final match of the 2025 National U19 Championship between PVF and Song Lam Nghe An took place.
With the nature of a final match, both teams proactively entered the game cautiously. With a quality squad, PVF was the side with the better position in the first 45 minutes.
However, PVF encountered many difficulties in the face of the fearless play of conflicts between young players on the side of Song Lam Nghe An.

The first half of the match took place without too many dangerous situations when the match was continuously interrupted by the referee blew the whistle after fierce disputes between the players of the two teams.
The game in the second half did not change too much as PVF continued to be the team with the better position and Song Lam Nghe An still played deep defense to wait for the opening goal from the opponent.
In a fairly solid game, the PVF players knew how to take advantage of opportunities to make a difference. From a corner kick in the 67th minute, number 16 Le Phat had a high jump to head the ball, the ball hit the crossbar and then went into the net, much to the surprise of Song Lam Nghe An's defense.

With nothing left to lose, Song Lam Nghe An players were forced to raise their squad for the remaining time to find an equalizer.
On the other side of the front line, PVF is no longer too interested in finding more goals. Instead, coach Nguyen Duy Dong's team gave up the game to Song Lam Nghe An to retreat deep into defense.
In the final minutes of the match, Song Lam Nghe An, despite having more possession of the ball, did not create many breakthroughs to penetrate the PVF defense.
The match ended with a 1-0 victory for PVF. This result helped coach Nguyen Duy Dong and his team win the 2025 National U19 Championship.
Meanwhile, Song Lam Nghe An's runner-up achievement is also an encouraging achievement as this team is not rated too highly before the tournament begins.
