Normally, many coaches tend to prioritize choosing foreign players who are playing and to some extent show themselves in the V.League. The long-time players such as Joseph Mpande, Hoang Vu Samson, Gordon Rimario, Michael Olaha, Gustavo Santos and Janclesio still have jobs even when their form has declined.
Recently, although not really excellent, Charles Atshimene, Luiz Antonio, Alain, Amarildo have all found new destinations after the old season ended. The opinion of experts is that they are at least used to the Vietnamese football environment. Players with this model are safe and easy to evaluate their suitability for the team.

Instead of relying entirely on Vietnamese brokers - many of whom are not really professional, clubs now have access to many large player management companies.
Some managers of many Premier League stars worth tens of millions of USD are ready to send players to Vietnam. Of course, market suitability and effectiveness are still a big unanswered question mark.
Simply put, player resources from Brazil and some lower-level tournaments in Europe also appeared with high frequency. Clubs with great potential such as The Cong Viettel, Hanoi FC, Nam Dinh or Ninh Binh still have... a headache because of many options.
On the positive side, the quality of players increased, and teams easily found good players. However, if the assessment is not careful and the broker is not reputable, it is not uncommon for a team to receive bitter fruit.
Recently, Hanoi FC has continuously had to liquidate foreign players despite their grand player resume, not inferior to anyone. Ninh Binh resolutely defeated Spanish foreign players despite high expectations.
