He grew up in the Olimpia Grudziadz II youth team of Poland and gradually moved into the first team. On 8 May 2022, Damian made his first appearance for the first team of Olimpia Grudziadz, with 4 minutes played in the home team's 4-0 victory over Stolem in Betclic 3 Liga - the 4th level of Polish football.
Since then, the midfielder born in 2003 has gradually built a solid position in the squad, becoming a mainstay of Olimpia Grudziadz.
In September last year, Damian Vu Than An was loaned to Olimpia Grudziadz to Stal Brzeg football club on loan until the end of the 2024-2025 season. The Vietnamese-American player has played 11 times for Stal Brzeg, scoring 1 goal.
