The Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) said that as of 1:00 p.m. on September 10, 2024, the number of people dead and missing due to storm No. 3 had reached 146. In addition, northern provinces such as Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen... are suffering heavy damage, with many areas isolated due to rapidly rising flood waters.
Faced with this situation, Vietnamese players joined hands to donate to support people to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods, in which midfielder Quang Hai donated 250 million VND, midfielder Hoang Duc donated 50 million VND.

Tonight (September 10), the match between Vietnam and Thailand in the 2024 international friendly tournament will take place at My Dinh Stadium. The two teams will observe a minute of silence for the victims of Typhoon Yagi.
