On September 10, Mr. Le Nhu Chinh - Director of Hue Green Park Center said that the unit had just sent staff with equipment and machinery to Hanoi to support the recovery of storm No. 3. Accordingly, the group of 16 people and vehicles departed late at night on September 8.
In addition to human resources and machinery, Hue Green Park Center also deployed 2 specialized cranes.
“The delegation this time went with the spirit of returning only when the work was finished, and all expenses during the process were self-funded by the unit. During storm No. 5 in 2020, Hue suffered heavy damage to trees, and Hanoi City also sent additional forces to support in overcoming the consequences,” said Mr. Chinh.
Currently, the staff and machinery of Hue Green Park Center are working hard to support Hanoi authorities in repairing, pruning, cleaning and replanting trees.
Also in the spirit of "mutual love", a group of 60 volunteers from Thua Thien Hue province was present in Hai Phong city to join hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters caused by storm No. 3.
Notably, the volunteers this time are mainly young people from the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union and Hue University, professional storm and flood support forces; young people from businesses, some of whom are professional athletes and martial artists, all of whom have undergone training in search and rescue, especially high-altitude rescue in caves and canyons.
Currently, the volunteer group of Thua Thien Hue province has been making efforts to support people and functional forces to clean up and overcome the areas affected by storm Yagi.
On this trip, Vietnam Railways sponsored 100% of the round-trip train tickets from Hue to Hai Phong for volunteers from Thua Thien Hue province to go to the North to support people in Hai Phong city who suffered damage after Typhoon Yagi.
