On September 9, LPBank Securities Joint Stock Company (LPBS), FPT Group and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) signed a major sponsorship agreement for the LPBank National Football Cup - Securities for the 2025-2026 season.
The sponsorship agreement marks LPBS' strong commitment to ensuring financial resources for the tournament, opening up great expectations for a breakthrough in quality and scale of the organization. At the same time, this is also a premise for deeper cooperation between the parties in the long-term development roadmap of Vietnamese football.
Mr. Tran Anh Tu - Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPF said: "The cooperation between VPF and FPT (FFT Play brand) has helped Vietnam's professional football tournaments in recent years continuously improve and develop.
This foundation has created many motivations for each club and player competing in the National Cup to give fans good situations and beautiful goals. And LPBS's presence as a lead sponsor of the tournament is a valuable recognition of all those efforts."
Also within the framework of the signing ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the official logo for the 2025-2026 National Cup. The new design uses the main yellow - orange tone, expressing a strong spirit, aspiration to rise up and passion for football. The logo will be used consistently throughout the tournament's identification system.
The 2025-2026 National Cup is expected to take place from September 12, 2025 to June 28, 2026 with the participation of 25 professional clubs, including 14 V.League teams and 11 First Division teams. The champion club will receive a prize worth 2 billion VND.
This year, to improve the quality of expertise and image of the tournament, VPF in collaboration with FPT Play continues to deploy VAR technology in a number of important rounds and matches.
The television unit also plans to experiment with the production of some matches with a scale of 10 to 12 cameras, while increasing the rate of matches with detailed parameters. Real-time interaction between commentators and audiences, Companion Mode and multi-stream commenting will also be available.
All matches of the 2025-2026 National Cup will be broadcast live on platforms: ground, cable TV, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile devices, public screening and social networks. At the same time, FPT Play will continue to coordinate with TV stations to produce and broadcast matches throughout the season.
