Tran Dang Thien was born in 2000, and used to play for Tan Hiep Hung futsal club. At the end of 2023, Thien moved to coaching and also worked at a major sports brand in Ho Chi Minh City.
He was also a member of the Vietnam Student Futsal Team that won a silver medal at the 2020 Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival while studying at the University of Physical Education and Sports.
