Today (January 28), the 29th day of the 12th lunar month, Hanoi FC announced the appointment of Mr. Hoang Van Phuc as acting head coach, replacing incumbent Le Duc Tuan.
Coach Le Duc Tuan and his colleagues will hand over the work of the first team to carry out new tasks at the Hanoi Youth Football Training Center. Veteran coach Hoang Van Phuc will take over the above position from the team's meeting date of January 31 (the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year).
Previously, Mr. Hoang Van Phuc held the role of technical director of Hanoi FC for many years, contributing to the achievements of winning the National U19 Championship (2022), National U21 Championship (2022, 2024) and the first National U17 Championship in 2024 after 15 years of establishing the Hanoi Youth Football Training Center.
The change in the coaching bench on the last day of the year of the Dragon 2024 gives Hanoi FC more hope for positive changes for the team in the new year.
At the start of the 2024-2025 season, Hanoi FC chose coach Le Duc Tuan as their captain. Previously, the coach born in 1982 in Hanoi had led the team in 2 matches in the 2023-2024 season.
