Buriram United defender Theerathon Bunmathan shared confidently before the Southeast Asian Cup C1 final against Hanoi Police.

On May 13, at a press conference before the 2024-2025 Southeast Asian Cup C1 final, coach Osmar Loss Vieira shared: "The final match is completely different from the group stage. This match is 180 minutes long, not 90 minutes and our goal is to win the championship.

Buriram United has played in many arenas and gone far. Therefore, the dressing room atmosphere is full of confidence, I am proud of the team's achievements. By participating in important matches, we know how to handle the pressure and are very familiar with that. Playing away is not a disadvantage for us."

Evaluating the opponent Hanoi Police, captain Buriram said: "They are the best team to enter the final of the Southeast Asian Cup C1 with almost absolute points.

The defenders and midfielders of Hanoi Police played tightly and methodically, causing some difficulties when we organized the pressing. Tomorrow is the final match, everything will be decided by the enthusiasm of both teams".

Mr. Osmar Loss Vieira added: "I don't think it's an advantage to play the second leg at home. If we don't get a favorable result tomorrow, there will be a lot of pressure for the final match".

Meanwhile, defender Theerathon Bunmathan said: "Wasting away in the first leg, Buriram will have some difficulties, but I am confident in the team's preparation for victory and the championship.

Personally, I am excited to meet my old teacher Polking, who once led Thailand. Moreover, we met the Vietnam national team players at Hanoi Police again. This is a match worth waiting for".

When the reporter mentioned the ASEAN Cup 2024 championship of Vietnam as well as the upcoming match between the two teams of two football platforms, Theerathon emphasized: "The match at ASEAN Cup and now different, other players, other properties, everything is different.

The victory in the Southeast Asian Cup C1 required Buriram to make a lot of effort. Now, I no longer wear the Thai national team jersey."
