On behalf of the VFF leaders, General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu acknowledged the silent but meaningful contributions of the referee team to the development of Vietnamese football in the past time.

According to Mr. Phu, competition management has made a significant contribution to the success of youth teams in 2025, when many teams such as U17 men's, U17 women's or U20 women's teams won the right to participate in continental finals.

In which, the role of referees is considered an important factor in ensuring the quality, fairness and professionalism of tournaments.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phu also said that immediately after the training course, a series of national women's and youth football tournaments will successively kick off in 2026. The dense schedule requires the referee force to have careful preparation both in terms of expertise and psychology.

VFF leaders expressed their desire for referees, especially young faces, to know how to take advantage of opportunities to accumulate experience and mature through each match, thereby making positive contributions to the sustainable development of Vietnamese football.
