On April 23, in Hanoi, Tien Tien Tien Tien and Nhien Newspaper, Vietnam Football Federation held a press conference for the 2025 Toyota Cup National U9 Football Tournament.
Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Nguyen Phan Khue - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong and Nhi Nhien newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee - said: "The National U9 Football Tournament will contribute to finding young talents for the country's football. In 2025, with continuous development, the tournament has welcomed 30 registered teams".
Previously, the National U9 tournament was first held in 2021 with the participation of 16 football teams nationwide. After 4 years of organization, the tournament has received attention and love from state leaders at all levels; departments, branches, sectors; fans and especially young players from all over the country.
Having graduated from the National Youth and Children's Football Tournament many years ago, at the press conference, national player Do Duy Manh shared: "Today I am very happy to attend the press conference of the 2025 National U9 tournament. The tournament is a useful playground for children to express their passion for football every summer. Having grown up from the tournament, I am very honored, proud and that is also my responsibility to contribute to the country's football".
The 2025 National U9 Tournament will take place in Tay Ninh from August 9 to August 26, 2025 with the participation of the following teams: Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Hanoi, Hanoi Police, PVF-CAND, H.Y.S Hanoi, Hai Phong, Luxury H.L Quang Ninh, Gia Bao Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Viet Hung Thanh Hoa, Song Lam Nghe An, Phu Dong, T&T VSH, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, SHB Da Nang, Thuan An Binh Duong, Khuyen Nong Binh Phuoc, Gia Lai, Dak Nong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ban Me Ngoc Hung, Van Dong Nai, Ba - Nga - Nga - Nga, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong Football Federation.
