Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team achieved positive results in the previous two friendly matches, when they defeated Ulsan Citizen (K.League 3) and Daegu FC (K.League 1) with the same score of 2-0.
Strikers Nguyen Tien Linh, Pham Tuan Hai, midfielders Nguyen Quang Hai, Nguyen Hai Long have all scored, bringing quite a positive signal for the Vietnamese team.
Looking ahead to the match against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, coach Kim Sang-sik will likely continue to experiment with the squad, before finding the main frame for the team. This is also considered the last chance for the players to show and prove their abilities to the coach born in 1972.
On the other side, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors is a successful football team in Korea. They have won the championship 9 times and finished runner-up 2 times in the last 13 seasons of K.League 1.
Mr. Kim Sang-sik himself led Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors from 2021-2023, helping the team win the 2021 K.League and the 2022 Korean FA Cup.
