The 3-0 victory over U19 Timor Leste helps U19 Vietnam gain a certain advantage in the race to win a ticket to the semi-finals. In the training session in Medan, the players focused on perfecting the ability to operate the playing style, increasing the connection between the lines and improving efficiency in finishing situations. In addition, the defense organization was also focused on when U19 Myanmar was assessed as a team with the ability to put more pressure than U19 Timor Leste.
The confrontation with U19 Myanmar is of great significance to the group A situation. According to the tournament regulations, only the 3 first-placed teams and 1 second-placed team with the best results will qualify for the semi-finals.
