U22 Vietnam practices in ideal weather of 17 degrees Celsius, ready for the opening match against U22 China in the international friendly tournament.

On the afternoon of November 11, the U22 Vietnam team had its first and only training session in Sichuan (China), preparing for the opening match against host China U22 at the CFA Team China - Panda Cup 2025 international football tournament.

According to information from Head of the delegation Tran Anh Tu, the training conditions are favorable with a temperature of about 17 degrees Celsius. The training ground is only a 5-minute walk from the team hotel, with grass meeting international standards. During the day, the group of 6 players finally gathered and were thoroughly tested for their fitness.

Before entering the training session, coach Dinh Hong Vinh took the time to encourage his students, emphasizing that although the training schedule was quite urgent, the whole team still needed to maintain the highest professional spirit.

The training session also welcomed the return of striker Bui Vi Hao after injury. The current head coach of U22 Vietnam hopes that he will quickly regain his ball feeling and achieve his best form before the 33rd SEA Games.

In terms of opponents, U22 China is considered a team with good physical strength and modern playing style, having made remarkable progress through international friendly tournaments organized by the CFA. U22 Vietnam also received respect from the participating teams, recording the achievement of winning the 2025 U23 Southeast Asian Championship and winning the 2026 U23 Asian Qualifiers.

In this afternoon's training session, Viktor Le, Dinh Bac and Minh Phuc only practiced light recovery due to the recent gathering, while the other players focused on practicing tactics, coordinating in groups and quickly changing conditions.
