Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Chairman of Bao Loc City Labor Federation - said that this activity was organized by the unit in coordination with Gia Viet Saigon Health Care Company Limited.
This event is part of a series of activities for Workers' Month 2025 that we are implementing towards the grassroots, practical for workers, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh shared.
Accordingly, Gia Viet Saigon Health Care Company Limited examined and provided health consultation for union members and employees of Scavi Bao Loc Joint Stock Company.
Here, union members and workers are screened by doctors with general examination and screening for diseases affected by working conditions in the garment industry. These are diseases related to the spine, shoulders, neck, eyes, ears and lungs...
For female union members, workers also receive in-depth examinations on reproductive health and maternity. In particular, in this program, 150 workers were given free medicine to treat diseases discovered during screening with an amount of nearly 40 million VND.
Ms. Dao Thi Hong Hieu - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Scavi Bao Loc Joint Stock Company shared that the unit currently has more than 800 workers for garment export, of which more than 700 are female.
Ms. Hieu said that being cared for and cared for by the higher-level union, the union members and workers were very excited. It is even more meaningful when these activities are organized during Workers' Month and respond to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene.
