On April 7, Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Duong - President of the Da Lat City Labor Federation - said that Da Lat Urban Services Joint Stock Company has over 50% state capital and more than 400 employees.
In recent times, the company has always focused on promoting democracy in caring for workers. The union and the company's leaders have coordinated to develop and implement democratic regulations at the workplace.
Especially in periodic dialogues, labor conferences and the signing of collective labor agreements. "Workers are guaranteed their rights, always excited to work and stick with the unit" - Ms. Duong affirmed.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union - shared that every year, the company organizes democratic conferences for workers to participate in giving opinions, propose solutions to increase income and complete production and business plans.
The conference also publicized the results of activities and evaluated the implementation of collective labor agreements. Before holding a plenary conference, the company also held conferences in departments, offices, and departments to let employees participate in giving their opinions more closely.

Ensuring the rights of workers
Mr. Duc said that implementing democracy well at the workplace has contributed to improving labor productivity. Thereby, ensuring and increasing income and legal rights of workers.
For example, in 2024, the average salary of employees at the company will reach 8.9 million VND/person/month, more than 90% of employees will achieve the title of advanced worker. Of which, 25 people achieved the title of grassroots emulation fighters.
The company has also considered raising salaries, seniority allowances for more than 100 employees and resolving personal leave and leave for more than 1,200 employees.
The union and the company's leaders also supported 17 employees to borrow capital without interest from the "Mutual Support Fund to overcome difficulties" with a total amount of 117 million VND and guaranteed bank loans for 5 employees to borrow 220 million VND to develop production.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - a worker of the Urban Environment Team - shared that the workers are very assured of working here. The company organizes periodic health check-ups and occupational health check-ups for workers, especially gynecological and reproductive health check-ups for female workers.
The company and the union always ask for our opinion on choosing service packages and examination units. The company also organizes meetings and gives gifts to thank employees on holidays, Tet, and birthdays.
Sick or disadvantaged workers are also promptly visited by the union and the company's leaders.
