Ms. Dung said that there are currently more than 40,600 female workers and civil servants in all levels of Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union, accounting for more than 54.2% of the total number of workers and civil servants in the province.
In some industries and occupations, the female labor force is 65 - 85% high, such as: Healthcare, education, vegetable processing, export flowers, tourism, textiles, etc.
Lam Dong has established mass women's committees at 100% of grassroots unions with 10 or more female workers.
Ms. Dung commented that through the emulation movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework", trade unions at all levels have encouraged and motivated female workers to strive to fulfill their tasks well at agencies and units.
Thereby, gradually promoting the role of wife, mother, and child in each family. "That is an important contribution of female workers to the development of agencies, units, enterprises and families, society", Ms. Pham Thi Le Dung affirmed.
On this occasion, female union officials at all levels reflected on the implementation of policies for female workers in enterprises.
Trade unions at all levels participate in inspecting and supervising the implementation of the law, ensuring the legitimate rights of female workers.
