Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union led the delegation to visit and present gifts to workers in difficult circumstances who received support from the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, including Mr. Nguyen Van Diep, Mr. Khuong Ngoc Kha and Ms. Khong Thi Hong Van.
Among them, Ms. Khong Thi Hong Van is currently a public cleaning employee at Thai Binh Petroleum Hotel. Her husband has had a stroke for 16 years and has completely lost the ability to work. Ms. Van alone carries the family's finances, taking care of her school-age children. Despite her hardships and difficulties, Ms. Van always maintains an optimistic spirit, works wholeheartedly, lives in harmony and inspires her colleagues with her extraordinary determination.
At the meeting, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union Nguyen Manh Kha kindly visited and encouraged each worker, and expressed his respect and admiration for the spirit of overcoming difficulties, the will to live and the will to rise up of the workers.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha affirmed that the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union always considers caring for, protecting the rights and improving the material and spiritual life of union members and workers as a key and continuous task. The gifts given directly to workers, in addition to material value, are also a sharing, a timely encouragement from the trade union organization, helping workers become more confident and motivated to continue to strive to rise.
