Accordingly, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Group's founding (1975 - 2025), Petrovietnam launched the Short story, autobiography, and Poetry composition Contest "Petrovietnam's Imprints" and the Clip Contest "Petrovietnam & I".
The contest is not only an opportunity to honor the glorious journey of the Oil and Gas industry, but also an opportunity to spread beautiful, realistic and inspiring stories about the people, works and culture of Petrovietnam.
With the theme "PetroVietnam imprint", short stories, signing works, poems are expected to show the history of formation - development, portraits of petroleum workers, mental overcoming difficulties, innovation and construction works in the career of national energy to ensure national energy. At the same time, it also affirmed that Petrovietnam today is not only a traditional oil and gas corporation, but also the center of the national industry, service and energy pillars - bringing in the mission of sustainable development, technological innovation, ensuring energy security for the country.
In the Clip category, with the theme "Petrovietnam & I", contestants can tell daily stories, professional experiences, workplace images, teamwork - all of which have created and are creating the cultural identity of Petrovietnam. With Petrovietnam's development orientation in the coming time, it will also expand its operating space and elevate its role and position not only in the field of traditional energy but also in the fields of industry and new energy. This is also a new point in this year's competition season, opening up a multi-platform creative space, especially on social networks.
The contestants of the contest are cadres and workers in the entire Petrovietnam system, Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad, with no age or occupation limitations (except for the Clip category - only for Petrovietnam cadres and workers). The entries must be guaranteed to be newly composed, never published, and in line with the contest's orientation. Each author can submit many entries, but each work is only considered for one award.
Time to receive works for short stories, signing and poetry is from 5.4 to the end of June 30, 2025. For the clip, the exam time is from 19.5 to the end of 10.8.2025. The total prize value is up to 480 million VND, nearly 100 individual and collective prizes will be awarded, including the highest prizes worth up to 20 million VND for each category; the "most favorite work" award through voting on social networks; along with collective prizes for units with many quality entries. In particular, the winning works will be published on the official communication systems of Petrovietnam and PetroTimes e-magazine. Some typical works can also be selected for release in a special collection on the occasion of the 50th anniversary.
