On June 8, some people discovered a hooded vehicle entering the premises of Vinh Loi District Party Committee, Bac Lieu carrying many ornamental plants, so they reported it to the local authorities.
Seeing a strange phenomenon, the hamlet chief came and recorded the incident, but the tree carrier told him: because the district had not paid the money, the seller took the tree away, not taking the State's property.
Previously, on March 21, 2024, the Vinh Loi District Urban Service Center reported the payment situation for the project to upgrade and plant trees in the District Party Committee's premises with the following quantities: 2 star apple trees, 2 yellow apricot trees, 2 bay trees, 370 m2 Japanese velvet grass, 300 cubic meters of land for growing trees and Japanese grass. The total implementation cost of 330 million VND has not been paid. Reason: No funding has been allocated.
It is known that the project to upgrade and plant trees in the District Party Committee's premises will be implemented in early 2024.
