According to the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union, the contest is organized to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union (September 14, 1996 - September 14, 2026) for officials, union members, workers and relatives of workers throughout the industry.
Contest participants can express themselves in prose or poetry forms to express the following contents: 30-year tradition of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union: Impressions, outstanding achievements and trade union roles in propaganda, emulation, training, care, representation, and protection of workers' rights; memories, stories of themselves or their families with trade unions, agencies, and units; examples of trade union officials, union members, and typical employees who are responsible and creative in production labor, trade union activities, and emulation movements; good models, typical initiatives in trade union activities; expressing pride, aspiration to contribute, and expectations for the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union.
Contest participants can also write about other contents suitable for the topic and associated with trade union activities, union members, and textile workers.
The Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union said that grassroots trade unions launched the Contest at the unit, preliminarily judging, selecting quality entries to send to the Organizing Committee of the Contest to participate in the final round.
The judging is expected to take place from August 1 - 15, 2026 and the award ceremony will take place before September 15, 2026. The contest has first, second, third, and consolation prizes for collectives and individuals.
