These officers, employees and laborers work at 14 Regional Power Management Teams and 3 units, including the High-voltage Grid Enterprise, the Power Testing Center and the Project Management Board.
With such a large living and working area for cadres, union members and workers, the Trade Union plays an even more important role, both as a bridge between expertise and workers, and increasing care and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of workers. Thereby creating motivation for cadres, union members, and workers to work with peace of mind and stick with the unit.
As soon as entering the post-merger phase, the Executive Committee of Lao Cai PC Trade Union promptly grasped the situation and proactively developed a specific action program, in which the highest priority was to comprehensively care for workers.
In addition to caring activities such as organizing vacations, Union Meals, etc., in periodic dialogues with the Board of Directors, the Union is always a bridge, reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of workers about working regimes, labor safety, shift meals, and work expenses. Many recommendations were accepted and resolved promptly, such as providing additional personal protective gear for workers working at high ground, improving shift meals, supporting fuel costs for mobile teams, etc.
In particular, by organizing many exchange activities, seminars, and thematic activities, the Trade Union has gradually eroded geographical distances, creating consensus and unity among all employees of the two units after the merger.
