On January 9, at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party", the Vietnam Railway Trade Union and the Thua Thien Hue Railway Exploitation Branch Trade Union visited and encouraged collectives and railway workers working at stations in the Lang Co station area (Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province).
At the program, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union presented gifts to 14 units working on New Year's Eve and 17 workers with difficult family circumstances from units stationed in the Hai Van Pass area.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union and the Thua Thien Hue Railway Exploitation Branch Trade Union allocated a total of 70 million VND from the Social Fund to support the construction of a charity house for Mr. Dinh Xuan Hoa - Train Operator at Hai Van Bac Station.
The program is organized to promptly care for and share difficulties with cadres and workers in the railway industry, thereby helping cadres and workers of units in the entire railway industry overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and feel secure at work.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Bang An - Member of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railway Corporation sent his thanks to the employees who have accompanied the company over the past year.
“In addition to assigning staff to work during Tet and ensuring absolute safety during peak periods, units must urgently resolve salary policies to improve workers' lives before Tet holiday,” Mr. An emphasized.
