On March 5, Mr. Le Phan Linh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines - said that the maritime industry currently has a total of 24,120 employees, of which 4,015 are female employees (accounting for 16.6%), present in most areas of work and production of units in the entire Corporation.
With the attention of the Party Committee and professional leaders, trade unions at all levels, female employees of the Corporation are always given the opportunity to work, contribute, and study to improve their professional qualifications, skills, and abilities; their rights and benefits are guaranteed, helping female workers stabilize their ideology, always strive to fulfill their assigned duties and responsibilities, and contribute significantly to the completion of production and business targets at the unit. Currently, the average salary of female workers in the industry is estimated at 13 million VND/month.
Implementing the annual Women's Union work program of the General Corporation's Trade Union Standing Committee, since the beginning of the year, the Trade Union Women's Union at all levels has launched many emulation movements, focusing on the emulation movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families" and "Good at public work, good at housework" along with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style...
The Trade Union organizes female employees to register for emulation from the beginning of the year, considering this one of the criteria for considering awarding the title of "Good at public work, good at home work" to individuals and groups with many outstanding achievements.
In addition to the two movements launched by the General Corporation's Trade Union, the Women's Union also proactively deploys many other women's topics such as: "Good worker mother, good student child", "T guiding mother, daughter-in-law, good son", promoting the emulation movement of labor and good management among female cadres and employees; encouraging female employees to register to take on and complete many product projects, topics, solutions... being widely responded and actively participated by female employees, becoming goals and spiritual motivation for collectives and individuals to enthusiastically compete, strive, promote talent, intelligence, creativity, proactively complete assigned tasks excellently.
Trade unions at all levels always encourage female employees to be proactive, have a sense of studying to improve their professional qualifications, skills, foreign languages, and soft skills to promptly meet the requirements of work in the new situation, thereby enhancing the position, role, material and spiritual life of female employees in the unit and in family life. In 2024, about 70% of the total number of female employees have participated in short-term, medium-term, long-term training, courses, training on professional skills, skills, foreign languages, information technology, skills training sessions, online training forms...

Participating in social security activities has become a regular job for female employees of the Corporation, including enthusiastic participation and response to activities such as the gratitude Fund, the Education Promotion Fund, the Golden Heart Fund, voluntary blood donation activities, etc.
On the occasion of the Action Month for Children and the International Day of Children on June 1, the Corporation's Trade Unions at all levels have made efforts to care for the children of cadres and employees, paying special attention to children infected with toxinsinsinsinsinsinsinsinsins, birth defects, children in difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties to rise up and children with high achievements in the school year...
It is known that in 2024, the Trade Unions at all levels of Vietnam National Shipping Lines spent nearly 2 billion VND on the above activities.
Currently, the Corporation's Trade Union continues to provide monthly support to children of officials and employees infected with toxinsinsins at a rate of VND 1,000,000/month/child, children with birth defects in especially difficult circumstances at a rate of VND 500,000/month/child.
