Under the direction of the head of the General Department of Politics, the National Defense Trade Union in coordination with the People's Army Newspaper organized the online contest "Learning about occupational safety and health knowledge" in the 3rd Army Trade Union, in 2026.
The contest is organized to continue to promote propaganda, dissemination, and thorough understanding of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, the regulations of the Army and the VGCL on occupational safety and health; and at the same time raise awareness and awareness of law compliance, labor discipline and responsibilities of Party committees, commanders, employers, officials, trade union members, and workers throughout the army.
In addition, the Contest also aims to equip knowledge and skills on occupational safety and health for officials, union members, and workers; contributing to forming awareness, habits and safety culture in each agency, unit, and enterprise in the Army.
Contest participants are officials, union members and workers working at agencies, units, and enterprises in the Army (where there is a trade union organization). Contest participants perform the steps of registering information, accessing the system and completing the test in a maximum of 30 minutes.
Each test consists of 30 multiple-choice questions of knowledge randomly selected from a bank of 150 questions and 1 video-mediated situation selected from 15 situations built by the Organizing Committee of the Contest.
The exam content focuses on regulations and knowledge on occupational safety and health, occupational accidents and disease prevention, and skills to handle real situations in the process of labor and production.
