Vietnam Information and Communications Trade Union organized "Ao Dai Week" and gave gifts to female employees on the occasion of March 8; organized seminars with the theme of promoting the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" associated with performing political tasks well and building happy families, raising healthy children, and educating good children; enhancing the role and position of women in the 4.0 revolution.
Through gender and family activities, it helps women increase learning and sharing of experiences, and is also an opportunity for women to raise awareness and responsibility in work, social activities and family. Women always uphold the spirit of responsibility, overcome all difficulties, complete assigned tasks well, and are an important factor in building and maintaining family happiness, recognized and highly appreciated by family and society.
Training, improving qualifications and female cadre work are focused on and carried out regularly and continuously. Trade unions at all levels have proactively advised the Party Committees at the same level in planning, training, fostering and arranging the use of female cadres. Attention is paid to the work of creating resources, sending female union cadres to participate in professional training courses, political theory, and paying attention to the development of female party members.
Through the activities of the trade union, many women have matured through the practical movement, many women have been trusted by the Party and professional leaders to take on important responsibilities, promoted and appointed to leadership positions in units and managers at all levels. 100% of agencies and units with 50% or more female employees have key female leaders introduced by the trade union.
