The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has issued Document No. 2414/BGDDT-HSSV to the Departments of Education and Training, higher education institutions, and vocational training institutions on strengthening management, education and ensuring safety for children, students and pupils in the summer of 2025.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training requires the Departments of Education and Training to advise the People's Committees of provinces/cities directly under the Central Government to direct agencies, units, and mass organizations in the area to coordinate with the education sector to implement summer activities for children, students, and continuing education students of high school age in the locality.
This Directive follows the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 61/CD-TTg issued on May 10.
Departments of Education and Training also need to direct decentralization of management, clearly defining the roles and powers between management levels for educational institutions after the reorganization, organizing local governments at both levels to ensure management and children's and students' recreation activities in the area during the summer are carried out normally, without interruption.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires the Departments of Education and Training to guide educational institutions under their management to effectively hand over children and students for summer activities in the locality.
In addition, directing the communication, educating knowledge, skills to prevent school violence, crime prevention and social evils, drowning prevention and safe swimming teaching for children and students; Disseminate knowledge of nurturing, caring and educating preschool children to young parents/caregivers; Encourage and coordinate organization for students to participate in physical training clubs, improve health, develop gifted and interests.
At the same time, direct educational institutions to proactively coordinate with functional agencies, local unions and parents in monitoring and managing students, especially those in difficult circumstances, staying in the locality, ensuring that all children and students have a safe, healthy and beneficial summer vacation.
