The Ministry of Education and Training talks about changing priority points for university admissions after the merger
The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued new guidelines on priority policies in university admissions in 2025. Accordingly, high school institutions with changes in boundaries, locations or administrative levels will be assigned different codes corresponding to each stage of students' learning to determine the correct priority level for the area. Candidates need to accurately declare the school code for each school year to enjoy accurate benefits.

Regarding priority by subject, candidates must declare permanent residence information on the exam system and provide appropriate evidence if they are priority according to a particularly difficult area or commune. The supporting documents need to be downloaded to the system and the original must be presented when completing the admission procedure. Acceptance points and training institutions are responsible for authenticating, checking and storing priority information of candidates according to regulations.
In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training clarified that the "graduation score" is a condition for registration in teacher training and health majors, and cannot be used as a basis for direct admission. See more...
