According to the conclusion of the Inspectorate of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City, at Thanh Phu 4 Primary School (Co Do District), regarding the implementation of tasks for the new school year, some contents in the school's education plan, teaching plans for subjects and educational activities of the professional group did not closely follow the content of the Official Dispatch of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Regarding the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program, in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years, the school issued a Decision to establish a Professional Group to discuss, evaluate, and propose the selection of textbooks for grade 3, which is not in accordance with the Circular of the Minister of Education and Training guiding the selection of textbooks in general education institutions (establishing a Textbook Selection Council).
Regarding the implementation of regulations on the selection and use of textbooks for the 2018 General Education Program, the meeting minutes on textbook selection did not clearly show the meeting content such as: implementing directives and instructions; organizing discussions, and the process of conducting secret ballots to select textbooks for each subject. The number of members attending the meeting in the minutes was not accurate.
The content of STEM education in the school's education plan is not specific and detailed. The teaching plan of subjects and educational activities of the professional group includes many STEM lesson addresses but in reality, there are fewer. The teacher's lesson plan shows but the content of integrating STEM education is not clear...
The school has not organized for students to fully experience according to the local education content teaching plan. Some documents of the school and professional groups still have duplicate numbers and are not in accordance with the document presentation format according to the Government's Decree on document work.
Through the inspection results, the Chief Inspector of the Department of Education and Training recommended that the Director of the Department of Education and Training request the Department of Education and Training of Co Do district to implement, direct, guide and urge the Principal of Thanh Phu 4 Primary School, professional and technical departments under the Department of Education and Training and related individuals and organizations to organize experience sharing and overcome limitations.
Report the results of the implementation of the Inspection Conclusion (with evidence of implementation) to the Department of Education and Training of Co Do district and the Inspectorate of the Department of Education and Training within 15 days from the date of public announcement of the Inspection Conclusion.
Propose that the Department of Education and Training of Co Do district direct and monitor the results of the organization to overcome the limitations and shortcomings of Thanh Phu 4 Primary School in complying with the regulations related to the inspection content stated in this Inspection Conclusion...
