The Ministry of Education and Training is seeking opinions on the draft Circular regulating codes, appointments and salary classification for teachers teaching in public educational institutions.
In particular, Article 12 of the draft Circular stipulates the appointment and salary arrangement for college lecturers. Specifically as follows:
1. Officials who are teaching at public vocational training institutions that meet the standards of professional ethics and training and fostering qualifications prescribed in the College Lecturer's Professional standards are appointed to the corresponding professional title according to the provisions of Clause 8, Article 2 of this Circular as follows:
a) Appointment to the professional title of practice college lecturer - Code V.09.02.04 for lecturer of practice vocational education (grade III) - Code V.09.02.04;
b) Appointment to the professional title of college lecturer - Code V.09.02.03 for lecturer of theoretical vocational education (grade III) - Code V.09.02.03;
c) Appointment to the professional title of main college lecturer - Code V.09.02.02 for lecturers of main vocational education - Code V.09.02.02;
d) Appointment to the professional title of senior college lecturer - Code V.09.02.01 for senior vocational education lecturer - Code V.09.02.01.
2. Officials appointed to the professional titles of college lecturers specified in this Circular shall apply the corresponding salary table issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP, specifically as follows:
a) Practical college lecturer - Code: V.09.02.04, is subject to the salary coefficient of type A0 civil servants from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89;
b) College lecturer - Code: V.09.02.03, is subject to the salary coefficient of type A1 civil servants from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;
c) Main college lecturer - Code: V.09.02.02, is subject to the salary coefficient of type A2 civil servants group 1 (A2.1) from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78;
d) Senior college lecturer - Code: V.09.02.01, is subject to the salary coefficient of type A3 civil servants group 1 (A3.1) from salary coefficient 6.20 to salary coefficient 8.00.
