The Ministry of Education and Training is seeking opinions on the draft Circular regulating codes, appointments and salary classification for teachers teaching in public educational institutions.
In particular, Article 9 of the draft Circular stipulates the appointment and salary arrangement for university reserve teachers. Specifically as follows:
1. Officials who are teaching at university-level equivalent schools who meet the standards of professional ethics and training and fostering qualifications prescribed in the Vocational standards of university equivalent equivalent equivalent equivalent teachers are appointed to the corresponding professional title according to the provisions of Clause 5, Article 2 of this Circular as follows:
a) Appointment to the professional title of university reserve teacher - Code V.07.07.19 for Grade III university reserve teachers - Code V.07.07.19;
b) Appointment to the professional title of senior university reserve teacher - Code V.07.07.18 for Grade II university reserve teachers - Code V.07.07.18;
c) Appointment to the professional title of senior university reserve teacher - Code V.07.07.17 for Grade I university reserve teachers - Code V.07.07.17.
2. Officials appointed to the professional titles of university reserve teachers as prescribed in this Circular shall apply the corresponding salary table issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP, specifically as follows:
a) University reserve teachers - Code V.07.07.19, are subject to the salary coefficient of type A1 civil servants, from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;
b) Main university reserve teachers - Code V.07.07.18, are subject to the salary coefficient of type A2 civil servants, group A2.2, from salary coefficient 4.0 to salary coefficient 6.38;
c) Senior university reserve teachers - Code V.07.07.17, are subject to the salary coefficient of type A2 civil servants, group A2.1, from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.
