When the earthquake occurred in Thailand, a man crossed a broken bridge connecting two high-rise buildings to find his wife and children.

On March 28, a 7.7 Richter earthquake in Myanmar affected Bangkok, collapsing a high-rise building.

At that time, Mr. Kwon Young-jun (38 years old), a Korean living in Bangkok with his wife and children, was exercising on the 52nd floor of an apartment when he felt a fierce shaking. Seeing the rising water of the swimming pool, he immediately thought of his wife and young daughter, according to Thairath TV.

To get to the apartment in Building B, he had to cross the high-altitude bridge connecting to Building C, even though it was shaking fiercely.

As I ran across the bridge, I heard the 'noises' right behind me. The bridge started to deviate and I could only hope forward, he recounted.

The video recording the moment the bridge collapsed was posted by Thai media on March 30. Many people expressed their admiration for his brave act.

His wife and young daughter had been evacuated safely before. After crossing the bridge, he continued to walk down the 40-storey stairs to reunite with his family. Currently, the whole family is temporarily residing elsewhere in Bangkok.

He shared: "Although it is dangerous, I will still do so to save my wife and children. Only when I met my family again did I feel like I had truly survived. This is my second life, and I will live a meaningful life.
