If you are familiar with traditional rice dishes, chicken curry rice will bring a new but still very easy-to-eat flavor. According to the book "Delicious and Nutritious Dishes" (Women's Publishing House), it only takes about 40 minutes, the fragrant curry sauce rice dish combined with the natural sweetness of chicken, potatoes and carrots creates a rich dish, suitable for both adults and children.

Materials

To prepare a dish for about 2-3 people, you need to prepare:

- 350 g whole-bone chicken

- 250 g potatoes

- 130 g onions

- 80 g carrots

- 100 g of green beans

- 2 bowls of white rice.

The seasoning includes 1 large spoon of cooking oil, 1 large spoon of cooking wine, 4 large spoons of curry sauce, 1.5 small spoons of honey, 5 cloves of garlic, 5 slices of ginger and rice flour water mixed from 2 small spoons of rice flour with 50 ml of water to create consistency for the sauce.

Material pre-processing

Wash chicken, chop into bite-sized pieces. Peel potatoes, carrots and onions, wash and cut into small pieces. Wash green beans, cut into pieces about 3-4 cm long.

Preparation method

First, heat a pan with cooking oil and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add chicken and stir well, add wine to cook and stir-fry until the meat surfaces are firm and turn slightly yellow.

Next, add onions and stir-fry until fragrant, then add potatoes and carrots in turn. Stir well over low heat so that the tubers are slightly dry before adding water.

Pour the amount of water just enough to cover the raw material surface, bring to a boil, then add curry sauce and stir well. Lower heat and cook until the potatoes are soft, the broth thickens. If you want the sauce to be thicker, you can slowly add the prepared rice flour water. During cooking, you should limit stirring vigorously to avoid crushing or burning the bottom of the pot.

When the dish is almost done, add green beans and cook for a few more minutes until just cooked. Finally, add honey, stir gently to create a light sweetness and make the sauce shiny and beautiful.

Scoop hot rice onto a plate, pour chicken curry on top and enjoy as soon as it is still hot. The characteristic spicy aroma of curry combined with soft sweet chicken, buttery potatoes and smooth sauce will bring an attractive and nutritious meal for the whole family.

With a processing time of only about 40 minutes and easy-to-find ingredients, chicken curry rice is a worthwhile choice to try if you want to refresh your weekend menu. Just a plate of hot rice with rich curry is enough to bring a full, cozy meal with loved ones.
