In the new episode of the show "You want to date", Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan continue their journey of love for single people. The male lead in this episode is Tran Van Chien (38 years old, from Dak Nong), currently working as a construction engineer in Ho Chi Minh City.
Previously, Van Chien had two relationships. In particular, his 3-year relationship ended because the two were young and had not harmonized in many issues.
Van Chien said that his ex-girlfriend used to do things that were not beautiful, often drank alcohol and even threw a glass at him.
After two relationships, Van Chien was introduced to many people by his friends, but because of his shy personality and the habit of living a responsible life, he still has not found his half. Through the program, he hopes to find a gentle girlfriend who is not a drinking drinker.
Coming to the program, Van Chien had the opportunity to get acquainted with Phan Vu Kim Thanh (37 years old, from Ben Tre), currently doing online business, living in Dong Nai. Kim Thanh is a quite independent person, loves everyone and lives for others. She shared that her strong personality and independence are one of the reasons why her marriage is not complete.
Kim Thanh said that after her father passed away in 2008, her family encountered financial difficulties, so she decided to marry her classmate's brother. She said that her married life was peaceful, without arguments or jealousy.
However, when she gave birth to her second child, her husband asked her to quit her job to stay home to take care of the family. Even though she has a job and attends extra classes, Kim Thanh affirms that she can still take care of her family. After a year of not finding a common voice, the two decided to divorce peacefully in 2018.
After the divorce, Kim Thanh raised two sons (the eldest in 10th grade, the youngest in 6th grade), without any child support from her husband. She confided that since then, she has not met a man, which made her feel moved. That is why she decided to join the program to find a new love.
Opening the door to meet, Kim Thanh and Van Chien talked about love and marriage. The single mother shared that she had undergone two cesarean sections and the doctor advised her not to have more children to ensure her health.
"If you can't have children anymore, you think it's okay? If I get married, can I live with my two children? ", she raised the issue.
After thinking, Van Chien expressed: "When I love you, I will love your relatives too. Everyone wants to have a child, but depending on the circumstances. If I love you enough, everything that is mine is mine, your children are like mine. If we get to know each other and get together, children will not be a problem."
At the end of the show, only Van Chien pressed the date button, while Kim Thanh did not agree. Her decision surprised many people. When sharing the reason, she burst into tears and confided: "When he asked again: "You can't have children anymore? ", I thought it was okay. Because there was a male friend 6 years younger than me, also a rookie and a first child. When she confided that she could not have children, that person was silent and asked the same question. I was very afraid of that sentence".
