According to the reporter's investigation, the project to build the Quang Uyen town bypass is a level 1 project, belonging to group B, using public investment capital managed by Cao Bang province, with the People's Committee of Quang Hoa district as the investor.
The route has a total length of about 4.85km, starting at Phuc Sen commune and ending at Quang Uyen town. The total investment is 200 billion VND. The project started in March 2024 and is expected to be completed in 2025.

Recorded on March 1, at the construction site, machinery is concentrating on construction. Some workers are drilling and breaking rocks to serve the leveling and shaping of the road.
Talking to reporters, the representative of the construction contractor said: "The locality has completed the site clearance work. On the entire route, there are three contractors working together, all of whom strive to complete in 2025".
It is known that in 2024, the project encountered difficulties due to a shortage of more than 300,000m3 of fill soil.
As one of the important projects of Quang Hoa district, when completed, the route will have great significance in promoting the socio-economic development of the locality. Therefore, people have high expectations for this project.

Mr. Hoang Van Da (residing in Quang Uyen town) shared: "I hope the road will be completed soon so that people have more convenient directions to travel. Vehicles going to Ta Lung border gate will also be easier".
Regarding the shortage of fill soil for many projects in the province, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province has directed units assigned as project investors to review projects under construction and prepare for construction.

If there is a surplus amount of soil and rock (after registration for exploitation and on-site use), it can be provided to other projects in the area. At the same time, units need to proactively guide and direct contractors to carry out procedures to request a mineral exploitation license according to regulations to serve related projects.
The procedures for requesting a Mineral Exploitation License will be carried out according to the instructions of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
