On the morning of December 21, at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Cultural Area (Hac Thanh Ward), the delegation attending the 21st Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, held an incense offering ceremony, presented flowers and presented gifts to Uncle Ho before the opening ceremony of the Congress.
At the memorial site, the leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor and the delegates respectfully paid their respects and expressed their deep gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions and selfless sacrifices for the people and the country.
After the flower offering and incense offering ceremony, on behalf of the delegation of the 21st Thanh Hoa Trade Union Congress, Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice President, Head of the Trade Union Work Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor respectfully reported to Uncle Ho about the outstanding results of the Thanh Hoa Trade Union in recent times.
Accordingly, after 79 years of construction, development and growth, Thanh Hoa Trade Union was honored to welcome Uncle Ho to attend and speak at the 6th Provincial Trade Union Congress (July 15, 1960). Trade unions at all levels, cadres, union members, and workers in Thanh Hoa province always deeply grasp, remember, and strive to study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings.
Currently, Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union is managing 850 grassroots trade unions with 294,227 union members. It is worth noting Uncle Ho's teaching: "Union must truly care for the lives of workers", in the context of many difficulties and challenges due to economic fluctuations, the impact of integration and fierce labor competition, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Union at all levels still adheres to the goal of union members and workers.
Trade unions at all levels proactively innovate the content and methods of operation, strive to complete the targets set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Trade Union Congress, making an important contribution to socio-economic development and maintaining political stability in the province.
In the 2023-2025 period, Thanh Hoa Trade Union has identified caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers as a central and continuous task. The work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has been implemented synchronously and effectively.
Dialogue, negotiation, and the development of collective labor agreements continue to receive attention. Propaganda and political and ideological education work has many innovations, flexibly combining traditional methods with the application of digital technology and social networks. The work of building the Trade Union organization has received comprehensive attention; the apparatus has been streamlined, establishing 41 commune and ward trade unions, in line with the two-level local government model.
Patriotic emulation movements are widely and practically implemented; every year, thousands of initiatives and technical solutions are applied, benefiting hundreds of billions of VND for businesses and society.
The results achieved are a vivid testament to studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and creativity of the team of cadres, union members and workers in Thanh Hoa province.
The 21st Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, is an important political event for the team of civil servants and workers in the whole province, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", demonstrating the determination and aspiration to rise up of the Thanh Hoa Trade Union and the working class in the new period.
