On February 11, Mr. Trieu Tai Phong - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation and the working delegation visited, wished Tet, and presented gifts to families of officials in particularly difficult circumstances in Pho Bang commune.
At the family of Mr. Truong Van Duan and Ms. Giang Thi Cham who are facing many difficulties due to serious illnesses, the working delegation visited, shared, and encouraged the family to strive to overcome difficulties and rise up in life; and provided 38 million VND in support from socialized sources to help the family stabilize their lives.
The working delegation acknowledged and praised the spirit of responsibility of Mr. Truong Van Duan's family, setting an example of donating land to serve the construction of Pho Bang Inter-level Primary and Secondary Boarding School.
Mr. Truong Van Duan emotionally said: "My family respectfully thanks the timely care and encouragement of the leaders and local authorities. This is a great source of encouragement for us to have more strength to overcome difficulties, feel secure in treating our illness and try to stabilize our lives.
This Tet holiday, Pho Bang commune received and presented 888 gifts, with a total value of more than 620 million VND, focusing on supporting poor households and particularly difficult households. In addition, the commune coordinated to give warm clothes and sandals to 412 Pho La elementary school students, contributing to helping them celebrate Tet fully and warmly.
