Organizing Tet celebrations for tens of thousands of workers
On January 7, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that implementing the plan of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation on organizing activities for the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year and the Tet Sum vay program, in order to promote the work of caring for workers during Tet and Spring, the Company's Board of Directors has coordinated with the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. to develop a plan to organize "Tet Nien Meal" for workers in 2026.
According to Mr. Quang, through the Year-End Meal, the company wishes to express gratitude and thank the contributions of employees in 2025, and at the same time show the concern of the Board of Directors for the team of officials and employees who have always accompanied and strived to work, contributing to positive results in production and business activities.
The Year-end meal takes place in the atmosphere of Tet coming, Spring returning, creating warmth and solidarity, thereby encouraging, motivating and creating new motivation for employees to continue to strive and join hands to build a stable and developing company in 2026.
The participants of the "Tet Nien Dinner" are all 13,000 workers working at two facilities of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. The venue is luxury restaurants such as Royal Palace and White Palace (Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province). Each meal is worth 400,000 VND/person, with a total cost of more than 5 billion VND.
Due to the large number of workers attending, the party is held on Sundays, divided into two time frames: morning from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and afternoon from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, starting from January 4th to February 7th, 2026.
Warm meals at the end of the year
Organizing the Year-end Dinner for a number of up to 13,000 people is not easy at all. However, with the goal of creating a warm, united and meaningful atmosphere during Tet and Spring, we have planned early, closely coordinated with relevant units, and carefully prepared all stages so that the parties take place safely, effectively, and most joyfully" - Mr. Quang shared.
Also according to Mr. Quang, this is not the first time the company has organized a party for all workers. Previously, in May 2025, on the occasion of Workers' Month, the company and the Company's Trade Union organized a gratitude party for 13,000 workers. Continuing this activity, the company continues to organize a year-end party to take care of the material and spiritual life of workers.
In addition to the New Year's Eve party, during the recent New Year's Eve, the company gave gifts of cooking oil to 13,000 employees. On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year 2026, the company will continue to organize the Tet Sum vay program, the Company's Trade Union will give Tet gifts to all workers. In addition, the enterprise implements salary bonuses for the 13th month and annual leave payments at a rate of 300%.
According to many workers working at Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd., for many years, the enterprise has been assessed as a unit that well implements regimes and policies for employees.
