On April 25, the Trade Union of Phu Quy Special Zone (Lam Dong province) said that it had coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Hoi Tay ward (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize visits and give gifts to union members, workers and students in difficult circumstances on Phu Quy island.
The working delegation presented 200 national flags to Tam Thanh Seafood Exploitation Union - a unit directly under the Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union.

The flags are sent to the fishing boats of union members fishing offshore, contributing to affirming the Fatherland's sovereignty at sea, and at the same time encouraging union members to feel secure in sticking to the sea for production.
In addition, 40 union members in difficult circumstances in the special zone were given gifts in cash with a total value of 20 million VND.
This is a meaningful activity for Workers' Month 2026, aiming to practically care for the lives of workers in conditions far from the mainland.
The working delegation also presented 2,000 notebooks and 5 million VND to 10 students who overcame difficulties and studied well at Ngu Phung Secondary and Primary School.

Representatives of the Phu Quy Special Zone Trade Union said that activities in Workers' Month not only focus on caring for the lives of union members but also spread the spirit of responsibility to the community.
Coordination with units outside the locality helps increase resources and provide timely support for workers and students in difficult circumstances.
