During this time, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Yoga Federation is only allowed to carry out activities to remedy violations. The Khanh Hoa Provincial Yoga Federation must hand over the seal to the State management agency according to regulations.
The reason for the suspension was determined to be that this unit did not comply with the directions of competent authorities, especially the failure to complete the merger procedures in accordance with regulations and deadlines.
Previously, in conclusion No. 5119/KL-UBND dated April 13, 2026, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee clearly pointed out the violations of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Yoga Federation in delaying the merger of the association.
Although there have been many guiding documents, including official letter No. 4331/UBND-KGVX dated September 23, 2025 and official letter No. 2252/UBND-KGVX dated February 5, 2026, the merger has not yet been completed.
Specifically, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Yoga Federation has not completed the dossier for merging the Ninh Thuan Provincial Yoga Federation according to regulations.
Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial Yoga Federation - Mr. Do Quoc Hoang said that in the past time, the unit has actively coordinated, but has not yet completed the merger because Khanh Hoa Provincial Yoga Federation did not agree.
Currently, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Yoga Federation is managing 35 clubs with more than 500 members and still maintains competition and movement activities inside and outside the province.
According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa, the Yoga training movement in the province is still maintained at clubs and training facilities.
In 2026, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is expected to send a delegation of athletes from the province to participate in national-level sports tournaments including: National Youth Yoga Championship, National Yoga Clubs Championship, National Junior - Children's Yoga Championship (expected to be held in July 2026). In November 2026, Khanh Hoa province is expected to host the 2026 National Yoga Championship.
Therefore, to ensure the preparation of athletes to participate in competitions and coordinate the organization of sports tournaments according to plan, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests the Department of Home Affairs to pay attention and advise competent authorities to consider consolidating the organization or have appropriate plans to soon stabilize and bring the activities of the Yoga organization in the province back to normal operation in the near future.
