According to the work program from September 21 to 27, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation has 100 athletes who are union members and workers participating in the 1st Provincial Sports Festival in 2026.
Along with sports activities, the Provincial Labor Federation continues to foster and train trade union officials in two days, September 26 and 27; signed a coordination program with the Department of Home Affairs on labor law and trade unions in enterprises for the period 2026 - 2030.
The Provincial Labor Federation Inspection Committee conducted an inspection of the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, the management and use of trade union finances and assets at grassroots trade unions according to the plan. The unit also developed a Project to establish affiliated industrial park trade unions.
Previously, from September 14 to 20, the Provincial Labor Federation deployed many activities to care for union members, workers and children of workers. Notably, the provincial-level "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" program awarded 600 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and 100 scholarships to children of workers in difficult circumstances.
At grassroots trade unions, child care activities are organized in many forms such as gatherings, scholarships, Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and entertainment organizations. A total of 2,364 gifts, worth more than 283 million VND and 1,092 scholarships, worth more than 61 million VND were awarded.
In addition, the grassroots Trade Union of Ty Xuan Co., Ltd. mobilized and awarded 80 million VND to support union members with dangerous diseases and unexpected allowances of 10 million VND for 4 union members. The grassroots Trade Union of Ty Bach Co., Ltd. organized a quarterly dialogue in the third quarter.
