180 union members and employees working at grassroots unions under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Trade Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies Trade Union participated in the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Trade Union Pickleball Competition in 2025. The tournament has just been closed.
Participating in the tournament, union members and employees competed in 3 events: men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. Each content is divided into 3 age groups, group 1 from 20 to 35 years old; group 2 from 36 to 50 years old and group 3 from 51 years old and above.
According to Mr. Luong Tuan Anh - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Trade Union - the tournament aims to create a useful sports playground, create an environment for employees to practice physical exercise, health and contribute to improving the quality of human resources. At the same time, the tournament is also an opportunity for cadres, employees and workers of units to exchange, connect and learn experiences.
At the end of the tournament, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Trade Union awarded a total of 32 prizes (9 first prizes, 9 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 8 consolation prizes) to union members and employees.
The organizing committee also awarded secondary prizes such as: the most exciting cheering prize, the most beautiful athlete costume prize and the oldest male and female athlete prize.
