On June 17, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation organized a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the grassroots trade union of PVTech Lighting Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), a 100% Chinese-invested enterprise operating in Luong Dien - Cam Dien Industrial Park (Cam Giang commune), specializing in producing LED light bulbs and LED light components.
From the end of May 2026, the Company's Trade Union establishment mobilization committee has promoted propaganda to each department and production workshop, helping workers understand their rights and obligations when participating in the Trade Union organization.
As a result, 100% of Vietnamese workers working at enterprises with 185 people voluntarily wrote applications to join the Vietnam Trade Union. The collection of personnel opinions and organization of the establishment congress were carried out in accordance with Guidance No. 38/HD-TLĐ of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the ceremony, the City Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 185 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization, recognize the grassroots Trade Union of PVTech Lighting Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) from June 1, 2026, and recognize the Executive Committee of the first grassroots Trade Union, term 2026-2030, including 5 members.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation Nguyen Van Quyet requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to quickly stabilize the organization, closely coordinate with the Board of Directors of enterprises, innovate operating methods, promote the representative role, protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, and at the same time promote emulation movements, contributing to building harmonious and sustainable labor relations.
