The District Labor Federation has ended the operation of 39 grassroots trade unions in the administrative agency sector, 65 grassroots trade unions in the public service unit sector receiving 100% of the State budget salary, and 3 grassroots trade unions in the public service unit with an autonomy of over 10%.
Along with that, the District Labor Federation handed over 198 grassroots unions with 7,698 union members to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management.
This is an activity to implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the political system to operate effectively and efficiently.
The leader of the Hanoi City Labor Federation said that the direct reception of grassroots unions under the Hoai Duc District Labor Federation to the City Labor Federation for management is to ensure continuous transition, not leaving gaps in union activities at the grassroots level.
