On December 22, the Nghia Thanh Commune Union (HCMC) said that through the unit's campaign, 32 union members and workers of grassroots unions in the area participated in voluntary blood donation.
Previously, the People's Committee of Nghia Thanh commune coordinated with local socio-political organizations to plan to organize the 2nd Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2025. Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union has mobilized union members and workers at grassroots trade unions in the area.
With the message "Every drop of blood given - A life left behind", 32 union members and workers from 9 grassroots unions participated in blood donation. Thereby, 26 units of blood have been collected, contributing to the locality in completing 100% of the blood donation target in 2025.
According to the Nghia Thanh Commune Labor Union, voluntary blood donation activities are not only an emulation, but also a cultural beauty of the locality. The active response to the movement of union members and workers not only demonstrates a sense of responsibility to the community but also affirms the bridging role of the Trade Union organization in implementing socio-political tasks at the grassroots level.
