Voluntary Blood Donation Day is a meaningful humanitarian activity, aiming to supplement the city's blood reserve, meeting the needs of emergency care and treatment of the health sector. At the same time, it contributes to promoting and raising awareness of people, especially cadres, youth union members, students about humanitarian blood donation, building a widespread voluntary blood donation movement in the community.

At the festival, many cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, laborers, youth union members, students and people of Phu Lien ward participated in screening, registration and blood donation according to the correct procedures, ensuring safety. According to the Organizing Committee, out of a total of more than 160 registrants, 121 people were eligible to donate blood, collecting 121 units of blood. The festival is a practical activity, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Every drop of blood given, a life stayed", affirming the responsibility for the community of the ward's cadres and people.
